A quick look at how a first campervan weekend with us unfolds, from pickup to your first campsite.
Can I really do this?
Do I need camping experience?
No. We make sure no one drives off unprepared, whether you've camped many times or it's your very first. Most of our guests have never slept in a campervan before their first trip. That's exactly what we're here for.
Can I even drive a campervan?
Yes, with your regular car driver's license (Class B). Our campervans weigh under 3.5 tons and have automatic transmission. So you drive without a clutch, and the campervan fits into narrow mountain roads or supermarket parking lots like a slightly larger car.

What does my first trip cost, and what about the deposit?
A calculation example
Example: 3 nights in a VW California Beach cost 3 × 80 € plus a one-time service fee of 129 €, totaling 369 €. Prices vary depending on the season and model; you'll see the exact final price in the booking system before you pay. There are no hidden costs.
The deposit
You'll place the 800 € deposit via credit card during online check-in. The amount is only reserved, not charged, and will be released after you return the camper. The deposit is for your and our security, not an expense.
We'll explain the exact price breakdown, including the service fee, in detail. Terms & Prices →
Campervan instead of a hotel or glamping?
Want to get out into nature but don't want to freeze in a tent? In a campervan, you have your bed and kitchen with you, and you decide every morning where you wake up. You're freer than in a hotel and still sleep in warmth. And usually, you pay less than for a glamping lodge.
Hotel
Nice, but fixed to one location. You book a room and stay where it is.
Glamping
Comfortable, but rigid. The spot is booked, no spontaneous moving on.
Campervan
Free and spontaneous. Your bed, kitchen, and home are always with you.
