Did you know there are even campsites near ski resorts? And they also offer the necessary facilities for guests to enjoy their stay at any time of year.

Campsites for your Waldviertel holiday

If you're travelling by campervan, we recommend checking before your trip which campsite in Waldviertel is best suited for your holiday needs. Whether it's winter camping or a spot near hiking trails – there's a suitable pitch for everyone!

Camping St. Martin

Camping St. Martin is located near a swimming pond and a bike rental. Dogs are allowed here, and there's also a playground for children. You can also play tennis. Winter camping is not possible at this site.

This campsite is located right next to the Thayatal National Park. It has 8 pitches with electricity, fresh water supply, and a waste disposal station. The campsite is accessible in all weather conditions and operates year-round. However, there are no common rooms or outdoor pools nearby.

Camping Waldenstein

Are you looking for an idyllic and central location to stay overnight? Then this campsite is for you. Here you're not only surrounded by nature, but there are also many activities to enjoy, such as tennis courts, squash courts, and a swimming pond with a sunbathing lawn. Guests can use the washing machine and tumble dryer. There's also a thermal bath nearby, but dogs are not allowed on the campsite. Unfortunately, there's no children's playground on site either.
