They spent 10 days driving through beautiful Austria in their VW California Beach campervan. To really get to know the stunning region, they stopped at farms, vineyards, lakes, and mountains, learning about their history and traditions along the way.

Day 1: Start in Vienna, heading towards Wachau

• Route: From Vienna to Wachau
• Locations: Dürnstein Castle ruins and surrounding vineyards

Leila and Florian's journey with Schau aufs Land and myvanture began in Vienna. They picked up their VW California Beach at the Vienna location and received a thorough introduction. To prevent any technical issues on their trip, the campervan was explained to Leila and Florian from top to bottom, and all their technical questions were answered. Now, their adventure with Schau aufs Land could begin! On the first day, the two globetrotters drove to Wachau to enjoy the vineyard landscape at sunset.

Day 2: Sonnentor visit, Ysperklamm hike

After a delightful visit to Sonnentor in Sprögnitz and a dreamy hike in Ysperklamm, Leila and Florian drove to the Alpaca & Llama Breeding Association pitch in Vierlings to wind down the day.

Day 3: Drive to Upper Austria, Orth Castle & Traunsee

• Route: From Wachau to Upper Austria
• Activities: Trip to Orth Castle and Traunsee
• Pitch: Organic Adventure Farm Bruckbacher

In the morning, they spent time with the alpacas and llamas at the Schau aufs Land pitch and even got to feed them. Afterwards, they drove towards Upper Austria to Orth Castle and Traunsee.

Day 4: Attersee, drive to Schau aufs Land pitch "Edingerhof"

Leila and Florian started their day completely relaxed with coffee at Attersee and worked from their campervan. Afterwards, they drove to the next Schau aufs Land pitch, "Edingerhof."

Day 5: Fuschlsee, drive to Ramsau am Dachstein; Schau aufs Land pitch "Hotel Berghof"

• Activities: Yak and alpaca feeding at Edingerhof

After sunrise at Fuschlsee, Leila and Florian drove to Ramsau am Dachstein for the yak and alpaca feeding at the Schau aufs Land pitch "Edingerhof." After the two content creators had diligently photographed and filmed, they connected their myvanture VW Beach to external power at the farm to recharge their laptops, cameras, and drones.

Day 6: Hallstatt & Gosausee, drive to Graz

The beauty of the mountains and lakes, along with a variety of outdoor activities like cycling and hiking trails on scenic routes to cozy huts in the alpine pastures, make this region around the Austrian town of Hallstatt so popular. Käsespätzle and Kaiserschmarrn are two other dishes you absolutely must try. They spent the night at the Schau aufs Land pitch "Weingut Destillerie Da Finz."

Day 7: Picnic at the winery, overnight stay at Schau aufs Land pitch "Bio Weinhof Lang"

Occasionally, it's perfectly fine to enjoy a glass of wine. Especially when you get to camp at a Schau aufs Land winery. That's probably what Leila and Florian thought too, as they spent some time enjoying a culinary picnic surrounded by nature.

Day 8: Graz city tour

Graz is a vibrant metropolis with many activities, attractions, and cultural treasures. The two travelers didn't want to miss out on Styria's capital. Luckily, they had rented a compact campervan, so finding a spot in an underground car park was no problem. Now, the city tour of Graz could begin.

Day 9: Vienna city tour

After a magical, starry night at the Schau aufs Land pitch "Feldhof" in the alpine pasture, Leila and Florian made their way to Vienna, stopping at the last pitch of their journey. Tip: If you want to make a stopover in an Austrian city, we recommend these parking spots.

Day 10: Campervan return in Vienna

Every journey eventually comes to an end. After all the culinary experiences and idyllic pitches from Schau aufs Land, it was time to return the campervan to the myvanture location in Vienna. After a quick check-in and inspection of the camper, it was handed over and prepared for the next rental.
